This week I took 3 days to experiment with Chocolate, Baileys, Nuts and Mousse.
Almost the perfect combination.
A crunchy nutty base, a nicely set chocolate ganache, a hint of cocoa sponge layer cake, and to topp it off - Bailey’s Mousse!
Now seriously, SERIOUSLY, it’s a 2kg (or heavier) cake that i put in my fridge but now it is gone. I would love for more people to try it though.
I must remember to work on my mousse! It’s a tiring, tedious, multi-layered cake but I LOVE IT.
I kept thinking about what to layer in the cake, non-stop, till I actually got out of bed at 5am just to embark on the cake. I dreamt about the cake, had a night mare about the cake, and all-things-cake. I even thought I cried when I overturned my cake in my dream but actually it was just… Yawning Tears.
Maybe if I’m in the mood I would do some again. Right now, I got to start my essay though. ANTHROPOLOGY & !Kung Dobeju (now we got to be careful where we put our !)
